Fern, the Forest Sprite

Fern, the Forest Sprite, 27” tall, wall hanging

I created the Forest Sprite, to honor our planet Earth. She is a very tall woman, 27”, and made to hang on the wall. I have hand stitched a variety of blue and green fabrics on her front, and given her an arch of branches and leaves over her head like a crown. Herecklace is made of Amazonite and Natural Turquoise as well as a white, Mother of Pearl Bird. She is holding 3 Quartz Crystals in her left hand and a strand of Amazonite with turquoise, gold Coral branch, more white, Mother of Pearl Birds, with glass designs and a metal butterfly, hanging at the ends. Her hair is braided, green wool, and her blue/turquoise shawl is hand knit. There is also a paper butterfly in the branches above her head. Streams of golden threads cascade from her head and back. Her turquoise and moss colored boots and made of Suede.

A Forest sprite is an elemental spirit associated with water and the forest, Water/Forest sprites are said to be able to breathe water or air and sometimes can fly.
